Fire Overnight at Tradewinds Resort in St. Pete

A fire broke out sometime around 2:30am this morning a the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort, according to Channel 8. They say three were hurt but we don’t know if they were hotel guests or firefighters. However, the Tampa Bay Times reported there were no injuries.
Many hotel guests were told to evacuate. Channel 8 says all floors in the north building were evacuated. two floors in the Breckendridge buildig were also cleared out.
The fire was in an air conditioning duct, according to a tweet from Bay News 9.
Some guests were moved to other parts of the resort. Others were booked at a nearby hotel. Fire crews were still on the scene at 8am. [Sources: Tampa Bay Times, Channel 8]
