Driving Over 120 MPH Gets Teens Arrested On Gandy Bridge
Driving over 120 mph is a trend we’ve been seeing lately. Now there’s been another arrest by Florida state troopers.
Two drivers were arrested for street racing over the weekend, driving over 120. A 19- and 18-year-old were each arrested in a 55 mile per hour zone. The two were each driving westbound on the Gandy Bridge after 2 a.m.
State troopers said they were going at least 128 miles per hour. That’s over twice the posted speed limit. Each driver was arrested and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
