Powerball Double Play Earns St. Petersburg Woman $10 Million Win
Pinellas County has a new millionaire. She the latest to win big from the Powerball Double Play.
55-year-old Laura Barnes of St. Petersburg won $10 million from Powerball with Double Play Draw game. Her winning ticket had five white balls matching the Powerball number from the drawing on July 6, 2022.
The Double Play Draw game is an “add-on feature” that allows players the opportunity to win up to $10 million with an additional drawing that uses the same numbers that were on their ticket. The Double Play costs an additional $1 for each ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, located at 5790 34th St. North in St. Pete. She claimed her prize a the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
