A big lotto winner in Hillsborough County!
I have family members who live in Apollo Beach, and we always drive out there for holidays, and I'm always running into that Publix at 5052 North US-41 for some last-minute item. Well, someone got VERY lucky when they purchased a quick pick ticket.
We don't know who the winner is yet because the Florida Lottery has not publicly shared who purchased the winning ticket holder is or whether or not they have come forward to claim their winnings.
Speaking of big (ginormous) lotto winnings...no one won the Powerball jackpot on Saturday. We'll see if someone wins it tonight when the drawing is held at 10:59 P.M. Wonder if there will be a big winner tonight or if the pot will continue to grow.

Froggy’s Metal Detecting Finds
Froggy has pastimes he enjoys when he's not busy making us laugh on the MJ Morning Show or running the shelving business. His favorite hobbies are magnet fishing, regular fishing, and metal detecting. So basically, he enjoys anything that has to do with using a rod of some sort to lure or attract things.
We recently chatted with him about his metal detecting scores and what makes it fun. Here's what he had to say:
My metal detecting obsession began almost 10 years ago when I moved into a new house, and there was a metal detector left in the garage. One day, I decided to try it out. I went around my yard and found all kinds of old coins and cool fishing lures, as well as old bullets.
Since then, I have purchased a better metal detector. Now my sons and I like to find spots where a lot of people congregate. One type of spot we've had good luck at is under bleachers at Little League parks. On one occasion, we actually found a ring.
I found these decades-old Hot Wheel cars.

Pretty cool, right?
Well, the coolest part is that I actually found these cars in my parent's backyard.

That means I basically found my old toys as a kid.
What are those initials?

Looks like it says "GJM."
Maybe the money belonged to George Michael?

He wasn't just careless with his whispers, but with his money, too, and accidentally dropped that money clip somewhere.
Found some bullets on the beach.

Hope these weren't used in some sort of a crime!
I found this weird bracelet.

The eagle design looks a little bit like the Freemason's eagle logo.
We've also found old coins.

Metal detecting is a good time. You never know what you'll find, and there's a story behind every item.
