Video: Lakeland PD Investigates Stolen Dachshund Puppy

Lakeland police are looking for help identifying a woman who stole a dachshund puppy.

It happened at All About Puppies in Lakeland. Surveillance video shows a woman as she steals a dachshund puppy from a cage.

It happened about 2:45 p.m., October 13, 2022. A woman removed the puppy from a kennel, and then put it in her handbag. She then left the store.

Sarasota is one of the most affordable cities in the U.S. and this is coming from a study by Realtor.com.

They actually have the region of North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton as one of the most affordable cities. The list is about the Emerging Housing Market Index, where they named the most affordable places to live in the U.S.

The list was made up after going through 300 large markets each quarter. They based their research on details including:

  • Local economy
  • Unemployment levels
  • Wages
  • Commute distances
  • Recreational activities
  • Housing markets/property taxes

Here’s the list of the top 10 markets.
