Downtown Tampa DASH Features Tesla Transportation

There are plenty of ways to get around downtown Tampa. Do you want to scoot, ride an e-bike, or take a Pirate Water Taxi? That’s just to name a few. Now add DASH to the list. This new option gives customers the opportunity to tool around in a ride-share Tesla SUV.
There will be 20 different destinations to choose from around Tampa. How much will it cost? Just $2 per ride per person. And you can jump in the Tesla with you and up to three of your friends.
Having this additional transportation option will bring more flexibility to people who are enjoying Tampa for either work or play. When you have a variety of options, you avoid congestion on sidewalks and roadways. Options including electric vehicles and bikes also reduce pollution in our rapidly growing downtown.
Hours Of Operation For DASH In Downtown Tampa
You’ll be able to catch a ride on DASH Monday through Friday beginning at 7 A.M. up until 11 P.M. Sunday rides run from 12 P.M. to 9 P.M.
You can check out the map of the route here.
DASH began running (or dashing) on October 12. If you want to take one, you can download the mobile app. The drivers are in uniform and are background-checked. They drivers are “driver-ambassadors.” Not only will they have proper safety training, but they’ll know quite a bit about the areas in downtown so they can act as tour guides. They will also be able to report suspicious activity to downtown law enforcement. If you’d like to apply to become a driver ambassador for DASH, you can click here.
Will you be likely to take a DASH around downtown?

Four Favorite Things At Glazer Children's Museum In Dowtown Tampa
Have you been to the Glazer Children’s Museum in downtown Tampa?
This is one of my kids’ FAVORITE things to do. As the weather gets warmer around Tampa Bay, you’ll might be looking for indoor activities and excursions. I promise you…you and your little ones will have an incredible time at the Glazer Children’s Museum.
For the first time this past weekend, my daughters tried out the mock Klystron 9 weather anchor desk. It was so funny because they were with their aunts, and the aunties took photos of them at the mock weather anchor desk and doing “breaking news” so I sent them a photo of me back in the day actually anchoring on Bay News 9 when I covered sports. And my girls saw the photo, but they don’t get it. They were like, “Oh cool. Mom went to the Children’s Museum when she was younger.”
My daughters LOVE to do some grocery shopping at the Publix grocery story exhibit at the museum. My older daughter is also quite the organizer. She stocked and organized some of the shelves last time she was there.
The Glazer Children’s Museum has a variety of exhibits. They’ve got everything from pretend Pizza Shops to Farms so that kids can learn where food comes from. It really is exciting to watch your child react to the exhibit, knowing they are having such a good time and learning, as well. The museum sparks curiosity and creativity in children and adults.
We like to visit various children’s museums around the country. The one in Chicago is pretty amazing, but aside from the Chicago Children’s Museum, we can’t find any better than the Glazer Children’s Museum.
If you want to find out more information, you can visit here.
Here is our list of our top four things to do at the Glazer Children’s Museum.
