Be on the lookout for an antique thief in St. Pete!

This bad dude stole what could have been as much as $18,000 worth of items from an antique shop.

On the MJ Morning Show we spoke with Andrea LeGrant. She owns Andrea and Friends Antique Mall. The antique mall is located on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North.

Andrea is such a sweet lady and we feel terrible for what she and other vendors at the antique mall have gone through.

But this guy seems like a real pro, as if he knew exactly what to look for at the shops. He knew what would be valuable to steal. He mostly went after sterling silver items.

This guy set up an elaborate ruse to pull off the heist. He hid under a table until closing time. This happened on November 11th, by the way. He crawled through the store to somewhat stay off some of the surveillance cameras. But his image was caught on some. He's described as a white man aged 55 to 65-years-old. He appears to be heavily built and is about six feet tall. He is bow-legged and has a very unusual gait. His walking style is described as a waddle.

Do you think you know this man? Check out the photos on Fox 13's website and see if you might be able to identify him. If you can, please call the St. Pete Police Department. The telephone number is 727-893-7780. You can also send a text or send your tip to TIP411.
