If you've been searching for the right music school for your child (or you) to attend, look no further than Westchase Music School in Tampa.

Roxanne Wilder here. I came across this music school because I would pass it on my way to work. It's located at 11301 Countryway Blvd off of Countryway and Citrus Park Drive in Westchase. I'd been thinking about signing my daughter up for music lessons. She started taking piano and has now switched to voice lessons. The number one reason that Westchase Music School is the best in Tampa Bay is because they have THE BEST instructors. We had Mr. Sebastian for piano and now we have Ms. Kayla for voice. The instructors really connect with their students and are all accomplished and extraordinarily talented musicians in their own right. And while speaking of the instructors, I ought to make mention of the overall staff. Everyone including the director and the receptionist are warm, friendly and ready to help with any questions. That goes a long way!

I also love the way they foster learning at the Westchase Music School. Even the set up in the waiting room is cool because the students' rooms are video monitored and you can see them receiving their lessons. I know with my kids, they'll see another student learning another instrument and it peaks their interest. They also have an after-class music lab that is included with their lesson.

My favorite part of having my child attend Westchase Music School is their performances, and specifically, the frequency. They just performed their recital at a beautiful outdoor park. So one concert wrapped up, we're back at class this week, and we'll be preparing for another in a couple of months. It always gives us something to look forward to. The concerts are exciting for the students and family members. Speaking of which, not only does my daughter take lessons there. My Dad does, as well. It's a family affair. He's a student, and he along with other students have formed a rock band, "A Touch of Grey." The grandkids love watching Papa perform at the recitals.
