Million Dollar Powerball Ticket Sold At Florida Grocery Store

No one won the big Powerball jackpot, but there was a MILLION DOLLAR ticket sold at Florida grocery store.

On the MJ Morning Show, MJ always says he knows he will NEVER win Powerball, but he's still compelled to play. Hey, because you never know!

There wasn't a big winner from Monday night's drawing. The winning numbers: 19, 24, 40, 42, 56 and Powerball 23 with a 2X Powerplay.

But guess what. There was a million-dollar winner in the state of Florida. Have you heard of Sedano's Supermarket? It's in Orlando located at 12981 South Orange Blossom Trail. With a match of five of the six numbers, one lucky Powerball player was able to win a ticket (a quick pick ticket) worth a million dollars. Wow!

We have this perpetual debate on the show. If a store sells a winning lotto ticket, does that mean it will be more likely or less likely to produce a winner in the future? Fester gets upset because his grocery store in Lutz has sold a winning ticket before. He has major lotto jealousy. Either way, this is a logic problem that we need some statisticians to solve.

Florida wasn't the only state that produced winning million-dollar tickets. Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina and Virginia also had winning tickets sold.

Get ready for tonight's big drawing. Have you purchased your Powerball Tickets yet? If you were to be the sole winner of the jackpot, we're talking an estimated $1.09 billion. Of course, it would be less if you were to do the cash option. That's about $527.3 million.
