Sir Elton John To Quit Touring For Health Reasons

After 50 years of touring, an announcement is expected today that the 70-year-old plans to quit his stage performances due to poor health.

When Sir Elton John contracted what was a 'potentially deadly' infection in South America, he gave himself six months in which to make what had to clearly be a difficult decision.

He has chosen to spend more time with his family.

This doesn't mean the 'Rocket Man' plans to stop playing.
