Pinellas County Sheriff Is Pleased With Compliance At Local Beaches

They’ve been closed for several weeks because of the coronavirus. Who knew what it was going to be like once beachgoers got the green light to head back out. But Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri is pleased with what’s been happening since the re-opens. He said, “People are compliant, people are doing the right thing. Hopefully, we’ll get our stride and everyone will know what the rules are. But if we have to limit access [moving forward] then we’ll limit access in the name of ensuring it’s done right, people are safe and we don’t have an atmosphere none of us want.”
