A professor told his student that he would not permit her to breastfeed her new baby during their online class.

We'll have to mention that the professor insisted on all students keeping their microphone and camera on during the class in order to receive full credit.

And the new mom (and student), Marcella Mares, reached out to the teacher asking if he'd allow her to turn off the camera when she had to breastfeed her child and he said "just do that after class."

Ummm...clearly, this professor knows nothing about babies. Not only do you need to FEED your child when they are HUNGRY, but breastfeeding is also a nurturing/quelling mechanism. So if Marcella has to have her mic on, it might be a little disruptive for classmates to hear the crying baby. A nursing baby is much less disruptive.
