I'll be happy if we keep changing. That's a bit of an oxymoron, but you feel me. Come beginning of November, I want the clocks to switch back to standard time.

There's a big push right now from Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Rick Scott to NOT change the clocks and stick with Daylight Savings Time across the United States. They're using the pandemic as extra motivation to make the change. I applaud them for trying to get stuff done, but after this kind of year, I have really been looking forward to that extra hour.

Mason and Bobby are like, "2020? Who needs an extra hour of 2020?!" But 2020 has worn me out so much so, that I'm looking for any extra pick-me-up and an extra hour to sleep in November, believe it or not, is something I'm really looking forward to. (Isn't that what this year has turned into? Looking forward to fewer things, further out.)

I know not everyone can relate to this point, but as a mom of two little kids, the darker it is earlier, the easier it is for them to get them and myself to bed.

And finally, in Florida we don't have a real weather change into Fall or Winter, but the changing of the clocks makes me feel like it's the holiday season. It signals to my brain that good festive times with family are on the horizon, and I need that this year more than ever.
