Reopening Plan For Raymond James
Raymond James Stadium will have its “soft opening” for the next Tampa Bay Buccaneers home game. (It’s against the Los Angeles Chargers.)
Now Tampa Sports Authority, along with the Bucs and Bulls, have revealed their reopening plan.
There will be socially distanced seating enforced, mobile ticketing, cashless transactions, touchless options in restrooms, advanced sanitation measures, and tight food safety protocol in the concessions.
One of the noteworthy changes is that there will be no tailgating allowed in any of stadium parking lots. Also, fans will not be permitted to bring bags into the stadium.
“We are excited to be welcoming fans back to Raymond James Stadium,” said Eric D. Hart, president/CEO of the Tampa Sports Authority. “We have done extensive upgrades to meet CDC guidelines for fan safety while attending our events. We would like to thank Hillsborough County for providing us the opportunity to receive CARES Act funding for these essential public safety improvements.”
