If you are looking for a little Christmas spirit, you'll find some at Countryside Mall at their Merry Market in the Mall.

I've always loved going to Countryside Mall in Clearwater. I grew up on that side of town. I have great memories of going to the mall when I was a kid and ice skating during the holidays. That was back in the day when there were fewer ice-skating rinks around Tampa Bay so the rink at Countryside Mall was quite the novelty. And ice skating puts you in the Christmas mood.

Vendors At Merry Market At Countryside Mall

But how about some shopping with merry merchants? That will put you in the holiday mood, too! What is the Merry Market at Countryside Mall all about? Fifty-three vendors come together. And some of these vendors are enjoying their first "brick-and-mortar" set-up. How about some tea to warm your heart and body during the holidays? Check out Badgers Bee Farm's honey tea. For a sweet frosty treat, check out Frosty Bites freeze-dried candy. I wonder if it's anything like astronaut ice cream. My favorite!

This Merry Market at the mall came about because Cheryl Taylor, who is with Community Markets & Events, wanted to create a way to give merchants and malls a leg-up during the holidays. Personally, I love shopping locally and this is a great way to support local businesses and vendors.

Go enjoy some shopping at Countryside Mall. It's happening through the end of the year.
