United Airlines Passenger Denied Flight With Emotional Support… Peacock?
When you try to board an airplane with an emotional support animal, it’s most commonly a dog or a cat. Lately, however, the variety of emotional support pets has becoming more varied, some to strange lengths.
A woman, trying to board a United Airlines flight at Newark Liberty International Airport, was denied her opportunity to fly with her feathered friend, a peacock. After having told the passenger multiple times, she still tried and was denied at the airport despite having purchased a ticket for the peacock.
The airline, in a statement, said the bird did not meet the height and weight guidelines.
