Fans of Game of Thrones are not happy with the way the series ended.

(SPOILER ALERT!!!)

Many fans took to social media to denounce the person who was named King.

"We came all this way for useless #BranStark to be the new king of Westeros? Let the log show I'm displeased," said one person via Twitter.

Actually, fans haven't been happy with the final season at all and over a million have signed a petition for a do-over.

What did you think of the final season of Game of Thrones? What I take from all of this is that it's REALLY difficult to write the ending of a show (or a book). As fans we get attached to characters and storylines. Writers have the incredibly challenging task of bringing things to fruition, maintaining the excitement and flavor of what makes the story special, and tying up loose ends without being heavy-handed.
