In Hillsborough County COVID-19 Testing Open To All Residents
All residents are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19. That’s from the Hillsborough County Emergency Policy group.
Previously, the way it worked was that you had to be either showing symptoms or been exposed to someone with the virus. But now anyone can get tested. And you don’t even need a note from a doctor.
Now when you go to the Florida Department of Health website you’ll still find, “Hillsborough County is doing limited drive-thru testing” by appointment only and only for those who “feel unwell” or thing they “were exposed to the virus.”
Call 813-272-5900 during normal weekday business hours to schedule an appointment for a free COVID-19 test.
