Tampa Bay Celebrates National Rescue Dog Day
Did you know today is National Rescue Dog Day?
If you’ve been contemplating adopting a sweet little pet, go for it because today is the special day to do it. In light of the pandemic, we have seen an increase in people wanting to adopt a precious pooch, so that’s a good thing.
Today recognizes the benefits of adopting a dog that needs rescued.
More than three million dogs end up in shelters each year.
There are so many shelters in the Tampa Bay area with pets available for adoption:
In Hillsborough County you can visit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
In Pinellas County the Humane Society of Pinellas and Suncoast Animal League have rescue dogs available.
In Pasco County try Pasco County Animal Services.
