School Bus Drivers Needed In Pinellas
Even though the classes are over for summer break, Pinellas County Schools are in need of school bus drivers.
The district needs to hire fifty drivers plus 110 school bus assistants. They are needed for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. The new employees will receive benefits. These are full-time positions.
Lead driver Dana Bartles talks about her enjoyment in being a driver. “I came to Pinellas County Schools because I wanted to be able to further my career and I just like working with kids so it’s definitely a great job, I love it. I enjoy coming to work every day.”
You need a CDL license, but the district is willing to train people. And there’s another licensing class beginning June 15th.
