It’s summertime, and the movie that is credited with being the first summer blockbuster was Jaws.
Here are some fun details about Jaws you might not have known.
First, with all of the gore and scary scenes, the movie was a PG release.
Also, when Steven Spielberg first heard John Williams theme for the movie, he laughed, as it wasn’t the music he had expected. Clearly, it worked.
The movie also kind of ruined going to the beach for some people for the fear of going into the water, even if the movie did paint what many believe is an incorrect image of what sharks are like.
