St. Petersburg Earns Honors As Top Travel Destination In U.S.
If you live in the Tampa Bay area, you know how much fun it is to hang out in St. Pete.
Now Tampa’s Sister City is getting national recognition. St. Petersburg is being recognized (for the first time) by Condé Nast Traveler magazine as one of the top ten places to visit in the United States.
Some other notable (and really big) cities on the list: Chicago, New York, Washington D.C. and Boston.
People who voted on St. Pete loved the cultural arts activities available and close proximity to white sandy beaches.
And of course, folks are enjoying checking out the new St. Pete Pier.
St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman said, “My hope is that everyone will come visit us as we emerge from the pandemic and do so safely with masks and social distancing top of mind.”
