Five Things To Know About Hiring Event At Tampa International Today
In the market for a job? There’s a big first-ever “airport-wide” hiring event at Tampa International Airport today.
If you’re thinking about going or want to tell a friend about it, here are five things you need to know.
1. The airport and the various vendors and tenants inside are looking to fill at least 950 positions. That means…
2. There are a variety of positions available. As mentioned, this is an airport-wide event. You could land a job in areas including retail, car rental service, airport maintenance, ground handling, food and beverage, customer service, or janitorial services.
3. They are looking to hire both full-time and part-time employees in both entry level and management positions.
4. You must attend in person if you would like to be considered for a position.
5. Apply today anytime between now and 3 P.M. in the airport’s Event Space, which is between Airsides E and F on Level 3.
Wear your face mask when you go. Background checks are required for all positions.
They are in hiring mode because of the increased expected travel this summer. “We want to make sure we provide them with the service they deserve and have come to expect of the team at TPA,” said John Tiliacos, Executive Vice President of Operations and Customer Service. “We are hopeful that this hiring event will meet our staffing needs across all areas of the airport, which enable us to best serve our travelers.”
