Busch Gardens Tampa Wants Help Naming Baby Rhino
A male baby rhino was born at Busch Gardens, and now it needs a name. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is asking for you to vote to help select one.
The new calf was born to Kisiri, a southern white rhino, on October 2nd. The male joins the crash at Busch Gardens (yes, a crash is the word for a herd of rhinocerous). The park is giving three names from which to choose. The names are:
- Viazi, which means “potato” in Swahili
- Vumbi, which means “dust” in Swahili
- Bahati, which means “luck/fortune” in Swahili
Voting on Busch Gardens’ website is open until Friday, October 21 at 5 p.m. Let’s get this baby rhino a name!
