Zombie House Features Tampa Bay Area Homes
Have you heard of the show on A&E called Zombie House Flipping?
It’s been on for five seasons, but this season, they are coming to the Tampa Bay area. Don’t worry. It’s not a team of zombies flipping homes. There are no actual zombies in the series. It’s about a group of real estate experts who find homes that need to be rehabbed. “Zombie” because the houses are zombified when they first find them. They have new hosts: Dolmar Cross, Samantha Middleton and Amanda Areopagita. Dolmar and Sam are real estate partners, and Amanda is a designer.
The season debut was today on A&E and the house they happened to rehab was Doug and Roxanne’s. The house was a dilapidated dump. There was a hole in the ceiling. The pool was filled with thick, green water. The whole entire house smelled like cat urine. At the end of the project, it had been turned into a beautiful, tropical oasis with a gorgeous backyard, pergola deck space. The transformation was incredible.
Dolmar visited the MJ Morning Show to talk with MJ, Fester, Froggy and Roxanne. He shared some behind-the-scenes stories that came about filming the show. It’s really cool that they are featuring Tampa Bay homes with our hot real estate market in full swing.
Dolmar and Amanda also talked with Roxanne about their business relationship and their opinion of the Tampa Bay area real estate market. They also explained how they ended up working on the show together. It was somewhat of a serendipitous scenario.
