Sarasota Woman Won $1 Million From Florida Lottery
The latest $1 million winner from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket comes from Sarasota.
37-year-old Leslye Jaramillo of Sarasota won big from a Florida Lottery 50X The Cash scratch-off game. She won a $1 million top prize. Leslye claimed her winnings at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to take her winnings as the lump-sum payment of $890,000.
Leslye purchased her ticket at Super Stop, 3138 17th St. in Sarasota. The store will also receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
50X The Cash is a $5 game. It was launched on September 21, 2020. There were 15 $1 million top prizes, but all 15 have been claimed. There are still prizes available ranging from $5 to $10,000.
