St. Petersburg Topgolf Driving Range Coming Soon
Expanding into St. Petersburg, Topgolf will soon be the place to go to enjoy driving and some nightlife.
If you’ve never visited a Topgolf location before, here’s what you need to know. Topgolf offers an experience unlike other golf driving ranges. The multi-level driving range that features music, bars and dining has continued to grow. The lastest location to open, St. Petersburg, will do so June 30, 2023. The location is at Carillon office park, near I-275, Roosevelt Boulevard or Ulmerton Road.
The electronic scoring allows for various games to be played, including for distance and accuracy. There’s no pressure, so it’s for every level of player. There will be over 100 driving bays on three levels of the building. Each bay has lounge-type seating where you can sit and watch the action while you wait your turn.
There’s also a full menu and bar (for the adults) with service to each of the bays on multiple levels. The menu ranges from bar-style bites to burgers and salads.
Make sure that if you plan to visit for a night of driving golf balls, reserve your spot in advance. Other locations have had long waits for walk-ups, so visit the website for your best chance of getting into a driving bay. Otherwise, you may find yourself enjoying the bar, which may not be bad after all.
Florida has the second most locations (8) behind Texas. When it opens, this will be Topgolf’s 90th location worldwide.
There is golf instruction for those who’d like to improve their game.
