Is Publix open on Thanksgiving Day? Unfortunately, no.
If you have to run and make a last-minute jaunt out to pick up more butter, you won’t be able to go to Publix. Did you forget that Uncle Dan only drinks Fresca? Don’t run out to Publix to grab some. It’s closed on Thanksgiving Day.
I have had this happen to me in the past. Sometimes we go out to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Appollo Beach. There’s a Publix on the main road leading into Appollo Beach. I always think I can stop there if I forgot anything, only to realize…it’s closed.
But leading up to Thanksgiving, Publix is offering complete turkey dinners for eight, ten, or fifteen guests. Enjoy your turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and dressing. Again, plan ahead with your Publix shopping. You can pick up whole turkeys and ham, stuffing’s, all the yummy fixings as long as you do so before the actual holiday.

So where will you be able to grab your last-minute items? Fresh Market will be open from 7 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Thanksgiving Day. Sprouts locations may be open till about 2p.m. Whole Foods Market will have those open hours, as well.
