You May Kiss The Bride And Get Married At Tampa Theatre
What a special way to say, “I do.” Head to the Tampa Theatre and say, “Let’s get married.”
Have you been thinking about tying the knot but wondering where you and your love might be able to do so? Tampa Theatre is celebrating an amazing milestone. And they want couples who are in love to be a part of it. As the Tampa Theatre gets ready to celebrate another year (almost 100 years) in business, they want folks to renew their vows or actually get married right on stage!
Imagine how romantic that will be under the beautiful blue-black starlit sky of the theatre. Do you want to be part of this “Valentine’s Vows” celebration?
Get Married At The Tampa Theatre
Here is how the night will go down. At the stroke of 7 P.M, all the married couples will be invited to do a vow renewal together, along with a “happily ever after” champagne toast.
Here’s the really exciting part. If you’ve been thinking about getting married, but maybe you haven’t been able to properly plan it or find the venue you want, now is the time. After the renewal of the vows, it’s time for the newbies to walk down the aisle. As long as you have your marriage license with you, you are good to go. Reverand John Bell will make it legit.
The Theatre will screen the movie Girl Shy after the ceremonies.
This is really the perfect elopement package. But you don’t have to pay for airfare to Vegas. You don’t need to hire a someone to decorate a cake or pay for a big venue. And yet, you’ll be exchanging vows in front of an enormous roomful of people.

Tampa Theatre Announces 2023 Holiday Classics Series
The Holiday Classics Series returns for the 2023 Christmas season to historic Tampa Theatre. Here’s what they announced as the line-up.
The annual Holiday Classics series is upon us. It begins late in November, and there’s no better place to enjoy these seasonal movie classics than Tampa Theatre. The experience of watching movies in this historic building is what makes these seasonal events a special highlight for the family and for the film buffs.
Having been around since 1926, it was the place to go in Tampa. It cost just a quarter to enjoy entertainment and air conditioning. In the 1950’s, as television became more popular, many of America’s theaters became used less and less. However, unlike some other theaters, the Tampa Theatre was saved from demolition. Tampa City Council purchased the building and reopened Tampa Theatre in 1977. In 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
The theatre is now one of the busiest, hosting over 600 events annually, according to TampaTheatre.org. Among these events are annual movie series, including the Summer Classics Movie Series, “A Nightmare on Franklin Street” Halloween series and the Family Favorites Classics Series.
Also, as they kick off the event in the first week, you’ll be able to meet Santa Claus before the first film in the lobby. Photos will be free.
Now it’s time for the 2023 Tampa Theatre Holiday Classics Series. Here’s what they have ready for 2023, along with the trailers so you can refresh your memory. It’ll also put you in that Christmas mood.
