Get ready to take advantage of three new flight on Allegiant Air. We’re talking about flights out of both good ole PIE, St. Pete-Clearwater International, and Sarasota Bradenton International (SRQ).
The announcement was made on Monday. According to the president and CEO of Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, “We are thrilled that Allegiant Air will be introducing a new nonstop destination to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. Plattsburgh, New York will become Allegiant’s 28th nonstop destination at SRQ. This addition will provide a convenient connection for both US and Canadian travelers, allowing them to explore the stunning beaches, cultural gems, and unforgettable experiences that the Sarasota Bradenton area has to offer.”
Allegiant made the big announcement regarding the three new nonstop routes from these two local airports on Monday. So where can you travel to?
You can depart from Sarasota Bradenton International (SRQ) and travel to Plattsburgh International. There’s an Airforce base in Plattsburgh. It’s upstate New York and especially beautiful in the summer. Would you like to go to Evansville, Indiana or McAllen, Texas. Easy to hop a non-stop out of St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).
The prices on these flights are awesome. You have to take advantage of these sale prices by purchasing your ticket by Tuesday, February 13. The deadline is approaching. Then you have to use the ticket between June (when the flights start) and November 11.
New Allegiant Air Ticket Prices During Sale
SRQ to Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG) starts June 12. You’ll only pay $79 for one-way. From PIE to Evansville, Indiana via Evansville Regional Airport (EVV), you’ll only pay $49 for one-way. Route starts June 13. Beginning June 14 fly from PIE to McAllen, Texas via McAllen International Airport for $59 for one-way.

If you’re traveling out of Airside A at Tampa International Airport, I’ve got a couple of spots you should hit before you board your plane.
If getting there is half the fun, you can make the airport experience as much fun as you possibly can.
First thing we do when we arrive at the airport after parking and checking our flight departure time on the monitor, is visit Phoebe the Flamingo. My girls love her and always want a Phoebe photo-opp.
If you are traveling on any of the following airlines, your plane will be waiting for you at Airside A: JetBlue, Silver, Spirit, United.
Once you’ve taken the tram and gone through security. You have two things to accomplish before you board your plane. First of all, you must Find something good to drink and eat either in the Airside or on the plane. Nothing worse than feeling hangry while you are traveling.
The second thing you want to do is make sure you have something to entertain yourself on your trip. Even if it’s a short, hour-long flight to Atlanta or Miami, you still want to have a good book to read or the proper electronics on which to download some good entertainment.
