Black Bear In Tampa Bay Area Neighborhood Caught On Camera
We’re headed toward the time of year when black bears become active. Already, however, there have been bear sightings in populated neighborhoods. Here’s the latest one in the Tampa Bay area.
Early Saturday morning, a security camera caught this black bear wandering though a Hudson neighborhood. The bear found itself in the residential area about 1:30 a.m. It could have been looking for food.
The video, shared by News Channel 8, came from Ryan Theil. The bear was wandering down a driveway and into the street where there was no traffic.
According to myFWC.com, Florida black bears are more active in the fall as they look for food. You can learn much more about the Florida black bear here from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
