This morning, Gwendolyn Henderson proposed that Ybor hot spots should have to close at 1AM until March. Henderson says that will give the city enough time to do some look into violence in the neighborhood and come up with ways to prevent it. At the moment, Ybor bars and clubs stay open until 3AM.
It's not only the clubs closing early. Henderson also wants to open up 7th Avenue to traffic. Right now, streets are closed off during busy hours. The concern is people loitering.
