The new update from the National Hurricane Center is in and there’s good news for Tampa. We shouldn’t see any of the impact. That’s the good news. The bad news is for our friends further north. Barry is expected to become a hurricane by Friday. Louisiana looks to be the target.
Aaaaand we have Potential Tropical Cyclone Two. @WFLAamanda says the NHC forecasts the system will be a hurricane before landfall - sometime Saturday night/Sunday morning. https://t.co/0lES8QZkcM pic.twitter.com/KpgJwzgdNH— Daisy Ruth (@WFLADaisy) July 10, 2019
Broad area of low pressure in Gulf is becoming better organized and will likely become "Barry" by Thursday night. There will be NO significant impacts to #Tampa Bay area. Track forecast is critical as conditions will be very favorable for intensification. https://t.co/3RAw2o6ou2 pic.twitter.com/BLoDJnQJq4— Paul Dellegatto⚡️FOX (@PaulFox13) July 10, 2019
