With the colder temperatures this week, the manatees are all cuddled up at the power plant in Apollo Beach and other waterways around Florida. If you can't make it to one of the viewing spots in person, get ready to waste the rest of your day watching a live feed of Florida manatees playing and swimming at Blue Spring State Park. According to their YouTube page, the water in this particular area is a constant 72 degrees year-round. They say that makes it "a vital warm-water sanctuary for manatees in the winter time." Humans aren't allowed near it so there's nothing to spoil the nature. If you do see anyone, they say it's a credentialed researcher. Keep an eye on the feed because they say you'll sometimes see other Florida wildlife like alligators, limpkins, and egrets.
