A Facebook update from MacDill Air Force Base today: “Tampa is NOT confirmed for any dates or times right now.”

Original story from April 27:

This Saturday, keep an eye on the sky as the Blue Angels will fly over the city of Tampa to pay tribute to our healthcare workers and first responders. It’s expected to last about 20 minutes, according to Channel 8. I reached out to the city and they say an exact time and route for the flyovers hasn’t been set. Word is that info will be released by Friday. The Tampa Bay Times reports the F/A-18 Hornets will also visit Jacksonville, Miami and Tallahassee. The coronavirus situation forced the cancellation of Tampa Bay Airfest featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels last month at MacDill Air Force Base. [Source: Tampa Bay Times, Channel 8]
