Universal Orlando Resort CEO John Sprouls talked yesterday about plans they have to keep customers safe when they eventually reopen. According to ClickOrlando.com, no time frame was given for when gates will open, but when they do, here’s what you can expect. [Source: clickorlando.com]
Instead of sitting right next to other passengers, there would be empty seats between you.
Instead of standing next other parks guests, you would enter a virtual line, perhaps with an app. Disney has already used this technique to let guests explore the park instead of waiting for hours to ride their new Star Wars rides.
Another effort to avoid lines, you would order your food online.
The park would cap attendance. It was discussed that parks during phase 1 would open at 50% capacity. Phase 2 would be capped at 75%.
You might not be allowed in if you're running a high temperature.
Employees will be wearing them and they would ask guests to do the same.
International Airport, they say they plan to bring on additional cleaning staff.
