With so few passengers traveling, JetBlue is asking the government to allow it to scrap flights right now to 16 airports, according to Channel 10. Tampa International Airport would be one of them. They used an example of a 162 seat flight from Boston to Minneapolis having only two customers on board. Under the request to the U.S. Transportation Department, the flight routes would be suspended until the end of September. Delta and Spirit have made similar requests with other airports.
