Travel website Trip Advisor is out with their list of the best 25 fine dining spots in America. Two places here in Florida made the list, but both will require a road trip for those of us in the Tampa area. You might want to check your credit card limit with these two as well.
First head east. The Collage Restaurant in St. Augustine actually made the top 10, coming in at #7. With over 2,000 reviews, this place has earned a 5 star ranking. Most entrees are in the $30-40 range. The thing to get? Lobster ravioli, rack of lamb, and the steak seem to be the most popular choices. It’s located just off St. George Street in the historic district.
The other Florida restaurant to make the list is The Bazaar by Jose Andres on Miami Beach. They came in at #16. Their Latin and Spanish dishes have earned a 4-1/2 star rating with over 2,000 reviews. They say to expect to pay between $45-75 per person. One reviewer this week said to go with the Miami Spice menu where you choose from 5 tapa-style dishes. The Kueh Pai Ti, potato bravas and black rossejat got high marks.
