St. Pete Teenager Clocked Doing 136 MPH on the Howard Frankland Bridge
It’s the reason I hate driving late at night over the Howard Frankland. Wannabe NASCAR amateur hour kids take to the bridges and swerve and in out of lanes at crazy speeds.
Channel 8 reports that 19 year old Eric Killin Jr. of St. Petersburg was arrested yesterday after his Infinity G37 was clocked by Florida Highway Patrol doing 136 miles per hour on the Howard Frankland Bridge. And get this… it was in an ACTIVE construction zone. Traffic was said to be moderate to heavy at the time.
Cops say Killin admitted to racing another driver. The good news is that there are no reports of anyone getting hit or hurt during their race. Killin now faces reckless driving charges. [Source: Channel 8]
