Those dreams of being a multi-billionaire will have to be put on hold. Someone in California hit the jackpot with Powerball this week, which resets the big money prize to a mere $20 million for tonight. I mean, honestly, what can you do with a pathetic $20 million these days?
Florida’s 3 big million dollar winners were in Poinciana, Wellington and Deerfield Beach. But here in the Tampa area, three players scored $50,000, according to Channel 8. Here is where they bought their winning tickets if you’re curious:
Thorntons, located at 1351 34th Street North in St. Petersburg
Publix, located at 2300 Griffin Road in Lakeland
Publix, located at 2031 Bay Street in Sarasota
The winning numbers were 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56 with the Powerball also being 10. Tonight’s drawing at 10:59pm could score you a $9.8 million check… or as that California player calls it… pocket change. [Source: Channel 8]

And Lightning season tickets are on a wait list … even for rich folks like you. So this probably won’t work out.
