Ethan Miller/Getty ImagesThe Stadium Tour with Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett bypassed Tampa. There were stops in Orlando, Miami and Jacksonville, but we were left waiting for a Raymond James Stadium concert that never ended up happening. Unfortunately it looks like Tampa got looked over again.
Motley Crue and Def Leppard have announced a very different show for 2023. Firstly, there's no Joan Jett or Poison. Secondly, there's no stadium. This will be a more intimate performance at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida near Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, March 12.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, but various presales started today. If you want to get wild and be in the pit near the stage, tickets start at about $400. The lowest priced tickets I could find were around $150. These prices are before you add those fees we all love.
Worth it? I've gotta be honest. Poison stole the show for me when The Stadium Tour came to Orlando. Motley Crue and Def Leppard were just OK to me. But seeing them in a smaller venue like this is a pretty unique opportunity. And you will be able to see Bret Michaels from Poison in Tampa this summer.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has revealed more of the acts that will perform live during the 2023 Food and Wine Festival. Concerts are included for annual pass members and individual day ticket holders, but you can buy upgrades for better seating. Musical performances on April 1, 16, 22-23 and 30 will be announced soon. And if you missed it, Busch Gardens is doing a BOGO deal for the next 2 weeks.
