For Rick's Tampa Bay fans, there's a new concert date just announced for next year much closer to home. Rick Springfield will play the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30.

Tickets will go on sale at VanWezel.org this Friday morning (October 20) at 10am. No word yet on ticket prices. If you're a Super Fan, Rick usually offers a VIP Backstage Experience package for $350. Fans are brought backstage to meet Rick, snap a photo and get an autograph. The VIP package for the Sarasota performance isn't up on Rick's site yet though.
