Fun 90s Lineup Announced For Tampa 2024 Summer Concert
If you love 90s music, Third Eye Blind announced their Summer Gods Tour for 2024 and there’s going to be a stop in Tampa. The show will be July 25 at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. Along for the tour will be Yellowcard (“Ocean Avenue” is the big song you’d remember from them.) Arizona will open the show.
Tickets go on sale to the public Friday morning at 10, but various presales will begin Wednesday morning at 10. On the Amp’s Facebook page, they provided the presale code “SPOTLIGHT” to score tickets in advance.
Third Eye Blind is one of those last bands from the 90s where I can listen to album front to back. While they’re best known for “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper,” or “How’s It Gonna Be,” they had a bunch of other fun songs that instantly transport me back to the late 90s. Here are a few of my favorite 3EB songs. Many you’ll remember, but a few were never really big radio hits.
I got to see Yellowcard in October in Las Vegas at the When We Were Young Festival. They were awesome live and I only remembered a few of their songs. It’ll be cool to dive back in to their 90s stuff so I’ll know more songs this time.
… bet you didn’t see this one coming!
