Orlando Def Leppard & Journey Concert
Geno / Q105

If you've been on the fence about getting tickets for the Orlando Def Leppard & Journey concert, this might help make your decision. For the next couple days there's a BOGO deal on a few sections at Camping World Stadium for the show coming up this summer on July 10.

JULY 1, 2024 UPDATE: The deal mentioned below has since expired.  This is an archive post.  There is, however, a NEW BOGO offer for the concert.  Tap here to get the new deal.

Here's the thing. I couldn't find this deal on the Ticketmaster website. I was emailed a link directly from Camping World Stadium. It wasn't because I'm from a radio station and it's some special thing for us media types. I'm guessing I got this email because I went to the Def Leppard show with Motley Crue and Poison a couple years ago at Camping World Stadium.

Orlando Def Leppard & Journey Concert Seating

There's one big catch with this offer. It's not for every seat. If you want to be down front close to the stage on the field or in the 100 level seats on the lower bowl, there's no BOGO for that. The buy one get one free deal appears to be for what we affectionately call "the nosebleeds." I'm seeing the BOGO offer can be applied only to seats in Sections 205, 206, 236, and 237 along the sides at the top of the stadium. There are also BOGO seats in sections P44 through P50 in the very back of the stadium opposite the stage.

Why these might be the seats to consider besides the price...

Listen. We're not teenagers anymore. Neither are the guys in Journey or Def Leppard. Back in the day, you wanted to be in the pit with your friends right up close to the stage to be able to catch a guitar pick. We're older now. So are they. Being far back from the stage helps suspend reality a little bit easier. Do you really need to see the wrinkles? Being far back, you'll still hear the concert and see the whole production with the lasers, lights and pyro. And yes, plus it won't run your credit card bill up nearly as much.

That's the tricky part. Since this isn't a deal that appears to be open to everyone, there's no website link I can give you. You can try this one but I don't think it'll work. Check your email (look in your spam folder too) if you went to that concert with Def Leppard, Poison and Motley Crue a couple years ago. The email offer was sent to me Wednesday afternoon around 3:30pm. If you didn't get the email, email me (geno@myQ105.com) and I'll forward you the one they sent to me which might work. The offer expires at 10PM Sunday, April 28.

Lots of great Q105 hits like "I'm So Excited" and "Neutron Dance" from the Pointer Sisters and "Brickhouse" ia one of our most requested songs on Q105. See them both at "An Evening of Icons - An Unforgettable Evening of Classic Hits" at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
