Tampa, Clearwater, and Sarasota have them and now it looks like St. Petersburg will finally have a Whole Foods too. Whole Foods hasn't confirmed the news yet on their website, but The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports tonight that the location has been determined. Their sources tell them that Whole Foods will be moving in at 203 38th Avenue North in the city's Old Northeast section just off 4th Street.

Seems their sources are on to something because the current occupant has already posted to Facebook Friday that they are being told to move out this summer. Suncoast Fitness posted that they'll be closing in June or July and hope to relocate nearby. They even confirmed the Whole Foods rumor saying that's what their landlord plans to build on the property.

The TBBJ notes that there is a Dollar General and coffee shop near this fitness center that's closing, but that there's no word yet on whether or not they'll be impacted by Whole Foods moving in. Whole Foods will have nearby competition from Publix and Trader Joes. [Source: TBBJ]
