As more do their banking online, having a physical branch to walk in to is becoming less common. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that Bank of America is permanently doing away with two of their locations in Pinellas County.

On the chopping block are the branches at 2200 Bellair Road in Clearwater (the one at the intersection of Belcher) and the 12046 Indian Rocks Road in Largo. The Clearwater location has actually been closed for a while. Even before COVID-19, they say it was just the drive-thru that was open. But once the pandemic hit, the branch turned out the lights. The Bank of America branch a couple miles away on Missouri Avenue will stay open. For those Largo customers, there's a Bank of America a couple miles further down on Indian Rocks Road that will remain in operation. [Source: TBBJ]
