Small Boat Rentals Now Available on Tampa Riverwalk
They’re not super fast. But if you’re looking for a low key fun day cruising on the waters of downtown Tampa, a new boat rental service is set up at 333 Franklin Street, according to That’s So Tampa.
These little retro-style boats won’t win any races. These little vintage cruisers from the late 50s and early 60s only go about 5 miles per hour up and down the Hillsborough River. They have electric engines so there are no annoying gas smells that will ruin your ride.
So how much does it cost?
You rent the boats by the hour. A single hour will cost you $129. But keep in mind – the boat does fit 4, so if you divvy it up with your friends, it’s a little over $30 per person. A 2 hour rental costs $259. You’ve got to be at least 18 to rent.
What it’s just 2 of you?
They have a smaller mini powerboat for 2 as well that rents for $79 for one hour or $149 for 2 hours. You can book a rental online at riverwalkboating.com. [Source: TST]
