The Eagles Long Goodbye - The Final Tour just got a little longer. Three Florida dates for 2024 have just been announced, but all will require a road trip for Tampa area fans.

The Eagles will first play two nights at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida near Fort Lauderdale on March 1 and 2. Tickets will be pretty tough to get for that one. Their venue only holds about 7,000. That kind of intimate setting will likely drive resale tickets way up. As it is the cheapest seats I'm seeing are going for almost $1,000 after fees.

Hopefully the show in Orlando at the Amway Center show March 4 will be more affordable. The general public on sale happens next Friday (November 17, 2024) at 10am. But there are a handful of presales that begin Wednesday, November 15. Steely Dan will open the Orlando concert. Here's the direct link for tickets.

The Hotel California Tour stops at Amalie Arena tomorrow night (March 28, 2023). On this tour the Eagles are playing every track on “Hotel California.” Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill will also play loads of other Eagles hits as well as a few of the band members' solo material. An orchestra will join in for many of the Eagles classics. From the tour stops so far, here's the likely list of songs and the order you'll hear them.

Hotel California

Don't be late getting to your seat!

New Kid in Town

The first single from Hotel California.

Life in the Fast Lane

Glenn Frey once said the title was inspired when he told his drug dealer to slow down on the highway.  "It's life in the fast lane" was the dealer's reply.

Wasted Time

A song inspired by the sounds coming out of Philadelphia at the time.

Victim of Love

Said to be the song that broke up the Eagles.

Pretty Maids All in a Row

Bob Dylan called it one of the best songs ever.

Try and Love Again

One of those lost songs from Side 2 written by Randy Mesner.

The Last Resort

A song recorded here in Florida.  Black Sabbath was recording next door and they were loud so this one had to be re-recorded a few times.

Seven Bridges Road

An ode to a county road in Alabama.

Take It Easy

Here come the Greatest Hits! This was the band's first single in 1972. Jackson Browne has writing credits on this one with Glenn Frey.

Peaceful Easy Feeling

Vince Gill performed it at the Grand Ole Opry as a tribute to Glen Frey after his passing, but Deacon Frey sings this one in concert.

One of These Nights

One of those classics that shows off the band's harmonies.

Take It to the Limit

The last Eagles single with Bernie Leadon before he was replaced by Joe Walsh.

Witchy Woman

Written when Don Henley was living in an old house that had a "haunting quality."

In the City

One of those rare songs that radio played even though it was never officially released as a single by the band.

I Can't Tell You Why

Timothy Schmit says the song was based loosely on his own experiences.

Tequila Sunrise

Named after a popular cocktail at the time. Cheers.

Lyin' Eyes

This one scored the band a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus.

Life's Been Good

Life as a rock star baby!

The Boys of Summer

Don Henley gets to do his own solo hit. One of the most iconic videos when MTV played videos in the 80s.

Funk #49

A James Gang cover.

Heartache Tonight

Bob Seger had a hand in writing this one.

Rocky Mountain Way

After the encore, Joe Walsh gets to get the party restarted with a killer air guitar classic.

Desperado

Another one the band never really officially released as a single, but it's a staple.

Already Gone

This one's been a must in the setlist since the 70s.

Best of My Love

A mellow finish to the night!
