STAMFORD, CT – NOVEMBER 24: A Guatemalan immigrant carves the Thanksgiving turkey on November 24, 2016 in Stamford, Connecticut. Family and friends, some of them U.S. citizens, others on work visas and some undocumented immigrants came together in an apartment to celebrate the American holiday with turkey and Latin American dishes. They expressed concern with the results of the U.S. Presidential election of president-elect Donald Trump, some saying their U.S.-born children fear the possibilty their parents will be deported after Trump’s inauguration. We want to help you make your Thanksgiving celebration easier. The key is it's all about the apps. No, not appetizers. Apps you can download.

If you want to avoid long lines at the grocery stores, take advantage of the Google Maps app to view estimated wait times at your favorite places to shop.

It's a challenge to remember when to take what out of the stove when you've only got one timer on the stove. You can use the Multi Timer Stopwatch app to time multiple dishes.

Don't stress about a traffic jam. If you're in route to the gathering, use Google Maps navigation feature to let your guests what time you'll be arriving.
