Video: Clearwater Beach Waterspout Spotted This Morning
Here’s the latest Clearwater Beach waterspout. This morning’s was the latest to be caught on camera.
We know waterspouts in the Gulf of Mexico are not that rare. This is the latest one from the Tampa Bay area. You can find yourself caught up in watching them when they occur. They usually don’t cause much damage, so long as you stay away from them.
News Channel 8’s webcam caught this spinning its way toward the Clearwater Beach area. It’s not easy to see whether it touches down to the water or not. Luckily, it did dissipate before it reached land.
Check out the video below of the latest Clearwater Beach waterspout.

It also didn’t meet the strength of another waterspout that was spotted off the Florida coastline Tuesday. The one that was seen near Destin, Florida, was much more menacing. Here are a couple of video clips of that one.
